Middle School at All Saints (5th–8th grade) provides students with growing independence, responsibility, and accountability. They are held to high expectations across academics, social development, and extracurriculars. Students engage in competitive sports and excel locally and regionally in academics and fine arts. The curriculum encourages exploration, risk-taking, and critical thinking, while faculty support students in balancing athletic, cultural, and social opportunities.
Through goal-setting, time management, and prioritization, students develop the skills to be productive and engaged learners. While mastering core knowledge remains important, the focus in Middle School is on the learning process itself. Faculty also guide students to understand their responsibility to the wider community, fostering servant leadership, empathy, and respect through service learning and collaboration.
Middle School operates on a 7-day class rotation from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (5th Grade until 3:30 p.m.). Students rotate through five classes each day, with two brain breaks/tutorials built in. 5th Grade has daily Fine Arts, while 6th-8th Grade participate in Fine Arts several times a week. All students have daily physical activity, with 5th Grade having PE and 6th-8th Grade engaging in athletics. Students also attend Chapel four times a week.

The STEAM Zone is designed to build on the foundation of wonder and excitement cultivated at the Lower School Makerspace. Students will engage with cutting-edge technology such as 3D Printers and Virtual Reality Headsets to design, develop, and create innovative products, honing their engineering skills through hands-on learning and problem-solving.
Integrated into their daily schedule, our Middle Schoolers have the wonderful opportunity of taking science to the woods. Our Outdoor Learning Center has over 50 acres of trails and undeveloped land, 3 cabins, with a variety of animals. Recently, we have partnered with the Outdoor Tomorrow Foundation to bring a wonderful curriculum for K-12 students that introduces archery, fishing, and more activities to the OLC.
We offer a wide range of clubs and extracurricular activities designed to inspire creativity, foster leadership, and encourage personal growth. Middle School presents many opportunities for students to leverage their unique skills and talents and we encourage our students to participate in a multiple extracurricular activities.
